I've installed some rewrite filters that block any referals from SA and POE. Just a precautionary measure.. I'm considering putting in a filter for Slashdot as well, though I won't unless it becomes a problem. I'm also working on the pics collection.. I'm working with a few other pics sites to set up a mirroring system between us all.. I'll see how wel lthis goes.. That's all for now! [5-09-2003]-[07:43:A] > Okay! We made the switch a few hours ago and are now being hosted thanks to Transwarp.com and XO.com! Not exactually sure what our peak throughput is because I've had trouble finding a site I can test it from, but I did pull down a 24MB file in 9 seconds a moment ago, so I think we should be fine on bandwidth.. We do have a monthly limit we have to share with 6 other machines, but it's something like 30GB a month.. So we should be fine ;> Once again thank Thraxus for moving the server and maintaining it while i'm on the east coast => This will hopefully be our permanent home, and I'll me working on finalizing certian aspects of the server and locking it down so it runs a bit smoother ;> For now, enjoy! |
